Solis Movement is a premier yoga and wellness studio, designed to offer an immersive and tranquil experience. RFP Design Group was entrusted with designing, fabricating, and installing custom millwork, seating, and architectural elements, ensuring a seamless integration of functionality, comfort, and aesthetics. Every detail was meticulously crafted to enhance the calm and restorative ambiance of the studio.
Design & Execution
1. Reception & Lounge Area
- Custom-Built Sofa:
- Handcrafted Flatcut Red Oak veneer frame with plush, high-density foam cushions.
- Designed for both relaxation and practicality, blending into the serene ambiance.
- Poufs (10 Pieces):
- Upholstered in heathered velvet for a soft yet durable seating solution.
- Portable and adaptable for multi-use configurations.
- Front Desk:
- Reeded glass paneling with blackened brass accents, merging elegance with contemporary design.
- Integrated storage for functional use in a busy reception environment.
2. Studio & Functional Spaces
- Millwork Column Cladding:
- Constructed using rift-cut white oak, seamlessly blending into the interior architecture.
- Enhances the organic and natural aesthetic of the studio.
- Yoga Mat & Weights Storage Unit:
- Space-saving built-in shelving unit with hidden brackets for a clean, modern look.
- Finished in Wilsonart Fawn Cypress Matte for durability.
3. Locker & Changing Areas
- Custom Lockers:
- Security-enhanced with brushed nickel hardware for a sleek, functional design.
- Crafted from durable melamine with wood laminate interiors.
- Bench Seating:
- Upholstered with stain-resistant performance fabric to withstand high usage.
- Designed for both seating and storage integration.
- Solid Wood Doors:
- Handcrafted and stained to match the studio’s existing interior theme.
- Custom-fitted single and double doors designed for sound insulation and durability.
