Crafting a Calming and Modern Environment
The Dandelion IVF Pollin – Fertility Clinic required a carefully designed interior to balance client comfort, aesthetics, and functionality. RFP Design Group was responsible for the design, fabrication, and installation of custom furniture and finishes for the reception, waiting room, and private consultation cubicles. This project achieved a welcoming and modern atmosphere, aligning with the client’s vision.
Design & Execution
1. Reception Area
- Custom Sofa Along the Window:
- Dimensions: Length: 129-15/16”, Depth: 45-3/16”, Height: 33”.
- Frame: Durable plywood with webbing for support.
- Finish: Flatcut Red Oak with a natural stain.
- Features: Integrated outlet system and modular design for on-site assembly.
- Front Desk:
- Design: Curved desk with reeded glass paneling and blackened brass accents.
- Finish: Stained brass with approved sample matching.
- Features: Approx. 72.5” width, delivered in modular components.
- Lounge Chairs:
- Dimensions: Height: 31-3/4”, Depth: 35-7/16”, Width: 27-3/4”.
- Materials: Oak frames with single-top stitching and natural Red Oak finishes.
2. Waiting Area
- Custom Banquette Seating:
- Dimensions: Length: 72-1/2”, Depth: 25-1/8”, Seat Depth: 20”.
- Materials: Rift-cut White Oak, plywood backing, and veneer skin.
- Construction: Modular for efficient assembly.
- Central Lounge Furniture:
- Circular arrangement with heathered velvet upholstered chairs and low-profile coffee tables.
- Lighting: Pendant fixtures with natural shades positioned to diffuse light.
3. Consultation Cubicles
- Ergonomic Chairs:
- Upholstered in neutral tones, designed for long-term client comfort.
- Dimensions: Width: 22-1/4”, Height: 26-3/8”, Seat Height: 17-7/8”.
- Desks:
- Constructed with Oak and laminated tops.
- Integrated shelving and power outlets for convenience.
- Decor: Minimalist with small potted plants and functional storage.
4. Entrance Door
- Design: Reeded glass with blackened brass accents.
- Dimensions: Approx. 36” x 84”, custom-fitted for the space.
