Transforming Hospitality With Bespoke Craftsmanship

MIMI Miami, a high-end dining destination, required a meticulously crafted interior that exuded elegance, warmth, and functionality. RFP Design Group was entrusted with custom fabrication and installation, seamlessly integrating high-end millwork, custom seating, and statement architectural elements to enhance the dining experience.

 

Design & Execution

 

1. Bespoke Millwork & Architectural Features

  • Cocktail Bar & Service Station – Featuring fluted leather panels, bronze-tinted mirrors, and a Calacatta Viola marble countertop.
  • Host Stand – Designed with a Green Fusion marble top, Meridian Pino leather-wrapped panels, and bronze hardware.
  • Mirror-Clad Columns – Floor-to-ceiling seamless mirror integration to enhance spatial depth.

2. Luxury Seating & Custom Banquettes

  • Upholstered Dining Banquettes – Crafted in rich red velvet with solid wood framing and recessed LED backlighting.
  • Entrance Banquette – Unique black fringe trim detailing with a beveled wood base and integrated power outlets.
  • VIP Lounge Seating – Upholstered in fire-retardant, premium textiles to complement the refined ambiance.

3. Statement Dining Features

  • Dining Nook Table – 72” Rosso Levanto marble top with antique brass trim, set on a Torpedo Antique Brass Base.
  • Display Shelving – White oak veneer shelving with bronze trim, strategically placed to enhance aesthetics and functionality.

 

Challenges & Solutions

 

1. Sourcing High-End Materials

  • Challenge: Long lead times for Rosso Levanto marble and Meridian Pino leather.
  • Solution: Pre-procurement through Weston Premium Woods ensured seamless workflow.

2. Precision Fit & Installation

  • Challenge: Ensuring all millwork integrated seamlessly within the existing architecture.
  • Solution: CNC precision fabrication and pre-fitted components allowed for quick, accurate on-site assembly.

3. Durability & Longevity in High-Traffic Areas

  • Challenge: Maintaining the integrity of luxury finishes in a bustling hospitality space.
  • Solution: Reinforced hardwood substrates, marine-grade finishes, and high-resilience upholstery were strategically chosen for maximum durability.

The completed MIMI Miami interior epitomizes sophisticated craftsmanship and functional elegance. Through meticulous millwork, curated finishes, and seamless integration, the space delivers an immersive dining atmosphere that enhances both brand identity and guest experience.
