Crafting Luxury & Functionality Through Custom Furniture

RFP Design Group was selected to design, fabricate, and install high-end custom seating and furniture for an upscale Honey Locust Residence. This project required meticulous craftsmanship, premium materials, and seamless integration to elevate the dining and lounge experience. The scope included custom chairs, bar stools, banquet seating, and handcrafted dining tables, ensuring a perfect balance between luxury and functionality.

 

 

Design & Execution

 

1. Bespoke Seating & Upholstery

  • Dining Chairs & Bar Stools – Crafted with reinforced metal legs, ergonomic contouring, and high-end upholstery.
  • Banquet Seating with Fabric Wall Panels – Designed for comfort and durability, integrating high-density foam and precision-wrapped Alendel upholstery.

2. Statement Dining & Lounge Furniture

  • Main Hall Dining Table – A striking centerpiece, featuring Red Oak veneer, CNC-milled edges, and custom metal reinforcements.
  • Custom Table Tops – White Oak veneer sealed with marine-grade finishes for longevity.

3. Architectural Enhancements & Details

  • Custom Fabric Wall Panels – Enhancing both ambiance and acoustics, seamlessly integrated with the banquet seating.
  • Brushed Bronze & Metal Accents – Powder-coated steel and Octolux brushed bronze laminates for a refined aesthetic.

 

Challenges & Solutions

 

1. Engineering Durable Hospitality Furniture

  • Solution: Partnered with Alendel Fabrics and Weston Premium Woods for seamless material matching.

3. Accommodating Late-Stage Design Adjustments

  • Challenge: Client requested refinements after production began.
  • Solution: Implemented flexible manufacturing techniques, allowing for seamless adaptations without project delays.

The Honey Locust residence space now boasts a meticulously designed furniture and seating layout that enhances both aesthetics and functionality.
