488 Wellington is a high-end hospitality space that seamlessly integrates industrial design with modern luxury. RFP Design Group was entrusted with the custom fabrication and installation of millwork, furniture, and architectural elements, transforming both the main level and basement into a sophisticated, functional dining experience.

1. Bespoke Millwork & Architectural Features

  • Front & Back Bar – Custom Red Oak veneer counters, brushed bronze accents, and concealed storage compartments.
  • Feature Wall & Shelving – High-gloss wood veneer with brass inlays and LED-lit premium liquor displays.
  • Custom Privacy Screens – Fabricated from metal and wood, designed to match the industrial aesthetic.

2. Luxurious Seating & Custom Furniture

  • Banquettes – Upholstered in premium leather with recessed LED lighting for an elegant, ambient experience.
  • Dining Tables & Bar Seating – Custom Red Oak tabletops with reinforced powder-coated steel bases.
  • Bar Stools – Three-to-four custom variations designed for ergonomic comfort and durability.

3. Statement Entrance & Bespoke Details

  • Custom Barn Door – Solid wood door with industrial steel framing, enhancing the rustic-modern aesthetic.
  • Brass Accents – Integrated cabinet pulls, under-bar hooks, and foot rails for functional elegance.

  • Solution: Partnered with Octopus Products & Weston Premium Woods to ensure timely procurement.

2. Integrating Millwork with Existing Architecture

  • Solution: Used CNC precision-cutting and modular installation techniques for a seamless fit.
